The Mural Process

Contact me about painting your space! I will send you a questionnaire that will narrow down the concepts you are trying to capture with your mural.

Meet in the Space

This will be my opportunity to talk to you in the space, take measurements, and discuss in person the details of exactly what you are looking for.

Design

I will sit down and work on drawings that capture the ideas you and I have discussed for your mural. If you are interested in exploring multiple options I will draw out up to 3 different designs quoted at different prices.

Prep Work and Sketching - Fixed Fees + 1/2 Variable Fees

Once a design has been settled on I will write out an invoice outlining price points. Half of the cost will be due at this point, the remainder due at completion of mural. After this point there will be a charge for additional design changes.

Painting

I will complete your mural in a reasonable time frame. Small changes that do not add significant time can be made at this time.

Final Review and Revisions - 1/2 Variable Fees

Upon completion of the mural the remainder of the price is due, you may also request tweaks to the final image (not to exceed 1 hour of work) at no additional charge. My goal is that you love the mural you have hired me to paint for you!

Mural Pricing

Fixed Fees

These are fees related to the creation of all murals and are fixed, such as travel logistics, fixed cost materials, liability insurance, etc..

Fixed Fees - $250

Variable Fees

These are fees related to the size and complexity of your mural. They include the labor, revisions, and materials necessary to complete a mural as elaborate or simple as you wish.

Simple INDOOR Mural - $30 x Sq.FT.
Intermediate INDOOR Mural - $38 x Sq.FT.
Complex INDOOR Mural - $45 x SQ.FT.

Simple OUTDOOR MURAL - $45 x SQ.FT.
INTERMEDIATE OUTDOOR MURAL - $53 x sq.ft.
Complex outdoor mural - $60 x sq.ft.

Additional Fees

I do not charge for many line items other muralists are likely to charge for, provided they are within reasonable limits. If I anticipate that additional fees will be necessary, we will negotiate a rate in advance.

The list below are considered reasonable and customary expectations, any deviations may be subject to additional fees.
